That is Tico though.
Odd, isn't this around the time the band weren't talking?
Yeah, thats why i assumed it might not be the whole band. Surprised that the whole band are there, even though its billed as a JBJ solo performance. Yes JBJ wrote it etc, but the band play Blaze at BJ shows anyways and its on Crossroad etc so why its not introduced as a band performance is a bit odd.

Sure doesnt look like tico though, and wonder who the other two yahoos are.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

You almost get the feeling he did it on purpose.

It definitely IS Tico. My guess for the "hippie" next to Alec is Mr. Obie O'brien.
Anyone with face recognition software here??? :P

There was even less cause to play his guitar during the HAND tour due to bobby being there but he still did - all part of the image.

Jon plays guitar on it at a lot of the smaller shows they do and tv promo appearances. Sometimes it's really hard to hear but I guess that's just because they either turn it down on purpose or put Richies guitar WAY over it which would be kind of smart. The performance they did on the Today show of Bad name while promoting crush you couldn't hear a note Jon played. Though when they played it on SNL You could hear jon's guitar clearly and it sounded great.
I can sort of hear him during sleep. And you can hear him aswell when they used to play the Distance.

I thought the guy next to Alec looked like Dave Sabo. I have no clue who the guy next to Richie is though - somebody who played on the album?

Awesome performance - listen to how raw and strong the vocal is!

Strange though about the lineup, its a JBJ solo song and introduced as a JBJ solo performance but Richie, Alec and what looks like David are still there, plus a mystery guitarist (not Bandiera) and Ticos been replaced by some random drummer. Odd

andi

damn I missed it, its not there now, copyright complaint.

I'll Be There For You (Live In Tokyo '91)

Tokyo 1991 in my opnion was 1 of the best shows the band has ever produced!

Already seen explosive versions of - Prayer , Bad Name , Born To Be My Baby.
