That 2nd night in Toronto 2010 was one hell of a show, probably one of my favourites ever since. The band was really on fire there!
That 2nd night, I'd never seen the band like that. My top show WAS the first Toronto show on HAND but Toronto 2010 blew it out of the water.

Toronto got spoiled HARD until 2013ish. I've gotten Damned twice, Wild is the Wind, Living in Sin, Joey, Thank you for loving me, Miss 4th of July, Garageland, Turn the Page, I Get a Rush. Obviously some of those are rare relative to that specific tour BUT we'd always get one bone throne to the diehards.

I felt really underwhelmed by both shows in Toronto 2010 and thought the first show was better. Sure, Damned and Turn The Page were surprises but both went over like a lead ballooon. Turn The Page followed by Memory seriously killed the show and the encore was just awful. It's as if Damned was there to please the die hards and Happy Now, Captain Crash, Turn The Page, When We Were Beautiful, Hallelujah and I Love This Town were there to please Jon and Jon only because absolutely no one gave a **** about any of these songs. I felt both band and crowd were expecting something more to happen but ultimately never did. Out of the 5 shows in Canada I saw that tour I felt Calgary and Edmonton were a lot better. Better atmosphere and just a better performance. I had a great time in Calgary and Edmonton and by the time show number 2 in Toronto was halfway done I just couldn't wait for it to be over.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I think having been there often gives off a different vibe than just having listened to it. I loved the band's peformance on the recording, it might've felt quite different in the stadium.
It can go both ways for me.
Like Munich 2011: so many people have asked for this show to be posted because "Jon was good on this or that video", but overall, it was more or less a lead balloon until somewhere in the encores when he woke up for These Days. Probably a bit like Toronto for you.
The other way around would be Hyde Park 2003: I don't know how often I've read here that people wish for this show to be released. The crowd surely was amazing, but the band sounded tired, Jon plagued with hayfever and it never sounded special in terms of the performance.

God I miss Richie (and Jon's voice). I spent so much time trying to find a non-VCD version of this show with no luck.
