Of course he had to show on the radio this live recording of We Weren't Born To Follow, when there are other songs that are awesome on The Circle. Maybe he showed that one because it was the last song written for the album. It was the single though. It's not like he was going to say "hey check out Bullet".

Ah finally I may be able to track down he original broadcast again. I had collected so many promo interview around the Cirlce that I never found the snippet of the song again 'cause it had been so short and the files so many.

Also kind of interesting how things change if you consider what a huge amount of demos and B-sides were released in the Bounce era and that we have no bonus tracks and 2 demo snippets in the Cirlce era.

I agree the death of the single really killed the B-Side, I still
Hope that we will get to hear more tracks from that era, with a few changes I think The Circle would be the best post 2000 album.

This is a very good version of this. I was present at quite a few events in 2009 (though not this particular one) where he played this. It was always welcome. If he decides to play this tonight it would be a good choice.

And he DID play just that. I'm wondering if I've reached fan level 2.0 or 3.0 with this? I had honestly been looking in my DVDs for the Inauguration of 2009 yesterday, then stumbled across this one and thought it'd be a nice fit for an upload as well. Like 10 hours later, they actually broadcast Jon doing that song
