The story about Jon shouting "From Biloxi, Mississippi to Cincinnati, Ohio and all around the world..." before Livin' On A Prayer: Jon met a guy in Biloxi, Mississippi who was much older than him and once he approached him, Jon admitted to be ready for those kind of "you play in one of those rock'n'roll band?" kind-of questions.
But the person was pretty shy and finally told him: "Jon, my name is Tommy and, believe it or not, my wife's name's Gina. We went through a lot of trouble times as kids and when we heard the song with our names on the radio, it really hit us."
Jon admitted to have been speechless at that story since the names had been made up by them, but he realized that the song had really made an impact upon this conversation.
Thanks. Question is the date. I used to have it as March 19 but when Paragon shared his version (best one at that point, I haven't compared it with yours) he had it labeled as March 20. From what I remember, he and his were there so he could be a reliable source. Well, the band played both nights there. Anyone any confirmations, info?

While Jon sounds hoarse at times, he is on key pretty much the whole way through the Cincinnati show. And yeah, this was the first bootleg I'd ever heard!

I didn't realise that This Is Our House was released as part of the Greatest Hits. This is such a cool song. Shame it wasn't played live back then as I can imagine it working well as a show opener.

I think it was a free bonus track you could get through iTunes but I'm really hazy.

So they did. The official "live" video on youtube is terrible. Do you know of any audience recording?

I realise now that I was mixing this song up with Jon's other football song. Do you remember Rumble in the House back in '03 with the Philadelphia Soul?

My god, Jon was a dreadful actor.

Has anyone watched this guy's album reviews? I really enjoy them.

I wonder if he is on this board?

I would loooooooooooooooooooooove a full version of that song. A recording exists, let's hope it surfaces one day, it's registered on ASCAP, co-written by Patrick Leonard so it was prolly recorded during the TLFR sessions.

Me too.

In the alternate universe where Pat Leonard actually went on to produce the next Bon Jovi record as planned rather than John Shanks, I wonder how things would have turned out.
