In 2014 and 2015 just struggled with hitting higher notes but he still sounded like Jon. He also looks great with that style.

I was listing to those 3 Christmas songs from last year and his vocal tone alone sounds so raw and different.

He'll be 60 in March and he's made it this far. The next 10 years will be interesting.

He sounds, and looks, so good here. It would be interesting to be able pin point exactly when his voice changed and he lost his classic tone. Are there any videos from 2015 when he sounded like himself?

I'd say his tone started slowly changing around the THINFS promo period in late 2016 and had finally ended up in the extremely impaired state of today by late 2018. For me, Tokyo and Osaka '18 were the last 2 shows where he sounded relatively healthy and recognizable.

Nah, you can clearly hear the change in his voice in these videos. He's dodging a lot of the high notes, the whispering thing is audible, and that weird effect when he tries to go up in his range is also noticeable. Now, it's bearable and I could go to an acoustic show and listen to him sing like that but it is a million miles from what is on display in that IWECBLC video from 2014.

For me the three nights in Sydney are the pinacle of the tour, hands down the best band in the world right there.
