I remember being so bummed back in 2017-18 about Jon's weak vocals and him butchering especially Bad Medicine in an absolutely horrid way night after night. Then I, after suffering through some stuff from Nashville 2022, went to see a random Medicine performance from 2018, and...

WTF was this energy, frontmanship, vocal sustain ("I gotta GOOOO", "wait a minute" and everything), etc. compared to recent times? It's not exactly vintage JBJ but it's VERY far from the abysmal level of today :O

Anyone who regards any post-2015 performances of Bad Medicine as vocally "not that bad" should seriously get their ears checked.

Correct. Whatever happened to Jon's voice, it happened some time in 2013. From 2015 onwards, it no longer even resembled his voice.
