It's hard to tell. Again, those are filler tracks... We haven't even heard Sex Sells the song. Hopefully the new box or this fan club thing will give us more information.

True, but then again, why would "filler" songs survive onto next album and not "killer" songs? My logic is, these Crush fillers are indeed "killers" of Sex Sells album

Read it again, that whole tread you posted is talking about the song not the album. And he then goes on to talk about Radio Saved My Life, so it's clear he's talking about songs. But you can of course interpret it however you like...

Jon also mentions it during the Florida Fan Club concert and plenty of other sources confirm all this as well. The album had songs, demos, and direction.
No one is debating this. We all agree that Jon's solo album called "Sex Sells" was scrapped in favour of a band album of the same title which eventually became Crush. But as you always like to do we go round and round and round in circles...

I think there are certain songs that make Jon tick as a songwriter. I do recall that songwriter retreat and that's most likely why it got carried over... And I can also see why Just Older and I Got The Girl made it... I might be in the minority here, but I really like Save The World... It's definitely Jon trying to rewrite Always again just as Thank You is I'll Be There For You... The problem with Save The World is the beginning. "I never went to college, I don't have a degree" and his "degree" is very whiny but once the song gets going, it really like it.

Incredible rendition, even edging out my favourite from Jakarta '95:

Interesting to see that there was an alternative version with live audio. The stage and the entire lighting arrangement is wonderful, magical.

I would love to discover the Bed Of Roses version where Jon is seen in some dunes, in one shot from afar in a helicopter. I remember seeing it in a report, and it was included in an (alternative) video which was broadcast on TV in 1993.

I didn´t know about the existence of the I´ll Be There For You Demo.
Sorry if it had already been posted.
I have to say this is a gem, I still doubt it because I´m so surprised about this find, but I guess it could be even better than the album version

Play it out loud and enjoy it.

Not as bad as expected from Jon in 2024.
