I think Bobby is a decent guitarist, nothing more and nothing less. I've seen him live 3 times with Southside and i thought he was really excellent. Its obvious that he is nowhere near as good as Richie, but then he doesnt have to be. Bon Jovi hired him as a background musician and not as a lead guitarist, so it doesnt really matter if hes no guitar hero. Plus Bobb has a great voice and i think thats what BJ certainly needed because Jon simply cant pull it off on his own any more and Bobby is a great background singer who adds to the bands vocal power as well as being able to give Richie a hand with the solos here and there.
And think the only reason he played the HAND solo was because Richies shoulder was too sore to carry the doubleneck guitar.

i agreed until this. hes an average singer and no where near as capable to sing jovi backing vocals, anyway they have richie and dave for that.

IMO they hired him to play TLFR songs and thats it. and if you ask me it was a waste
