if they don't drop all these extra people that cause that cacophony i just heard i don't think i'll go to see them when they tour europe. i can't imagine getting bored in a bon jovi show... but i'm afraid they ruined the one thing that they were still great at.

Awesome.
I love that song.....It makes no sense that they don't play it. Jon could surely pull off an acoustic version vocally.

You know when we had that debate of actually being there when album was released? You & me being just a few years difference, yet me KTF/TD gen, you Crush gen.

Well what I ment back then was, these kinda performances we got all the time during that period.
Search for the acoustic performance of Always & SatNight, MTV just to name 1.
The example Devil gave, playing a superb version of Hey God on MTV music awards when it wasnt even a single. Good guys same story.
Lots of shows wich were broadcast live on tv back then (yokohoma, rock am ring, seoul just too name a few), cool radio performances (Virgin Megastore, Australie & Wembley jumps to mind), etc etc etc

Then imagine the folks that were also there during the 80's, lets call them the senior-folks
They must miss even more nowadays

The thing is, Bon Jovi nowadays refuses to promote their albums properly anymore. During the These Days era there were 3 different acoustic radio shows in 1 or 2 days, on which they did acoustic versions of (It's Hard) Letting You Go, Lie To Me and the likes. They promoted These Days and even Crush very well by doing all those radio shows. When Have A Nice Day was released there was one radio show in Europe on which they played 6 songs and there hasn't been a single acoustic show for that album.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
