What a shitty pop song!

Would have hoped of better from Richie. (I know he probably didnt write it all...)
I always assumed it was Jon who pushed for this type of sound, seems Richie is also content with singing this type of mush. Its no Mr Bluesman or Stranger In this town, thats for sure.

meh

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I think it's alright. Richie sings well, but he should sing it all, instead of having that other guy and the woman who sounds like a dying cat.

No, Richie wrote it with John Shanks. As I said in a past thread, the lyrics and melody reak of Sambora's writing. Not that the writing is bad, you just hear it and know it's Sambora's style. I don't HATE it, it just sounds far too forced.

Yep, I agree with that. It's very similar to Take Me On in that regard, and actually a lot of Undiscovered Soul too. I'm an enourmous Sambora fan but anybody who thinks Sambora is what keeps the rock in Bon Jovi or that Jon is the one who pulls the band away from a rock sound to a pop sound has got it completely backwards.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I've been saying that for so long but a lot of people, not naming names just things I've noticed, think Richie is the bands saving grace as far as rock music goes. He's just as pop minded as Jon. Not that it's a bad thing, I love the music they both make, it's just been blown way out of porportion that since Richie can play a guitar solo, he therefore needs the band to rock to be happy.

I think Richie is behind a lot of suns, from the bluesy to the pop. You can see that on the solo albums.

BJ - Richie = Train Wreck.
