Oh really? I seem to remember a time when you were obsessed with that song

Hey Kathleen, at least you got to hear Last Man Standing before anyone else. I still love that version much more than the one on HAND. I remember when I got the DVD, I listened to it over and over again. It's probably still my favorite song of this decade.

You know - you're right. I forgot about that and Thief of Hearts being pulled from the record. And we got to hear Sylvia's Mother (and I was old enough to remember the original). So I guess it wasn't all bad. Actually I didn't hate it at the time - as I said - I tried really hard to like that album.

It's in retrospect that I kinda cringe when I think about it. And it's the only Jovi show I can think of, that I went to, that make makes me regret the money spent. Those fan club tickets weren't cheap

True - and an excellent acoustic version it was too. We also got a super good Jovi Jam (Paragon's term) while Jon was taking a break. It appeared to be spontaneous (but probably wasn't).

Not to turn this into a TLFR topic, but I still love the version of It's My Life from that album. Very ballsy move IMO.

So do I.
Every other song on the record ranges from Sucks to Out and Out Musical Rape, but the piano ballad version of IML is awesome. Wanted is a tad passable as well.

BTW man, I listened to Thief Of Hearts today for the first time in a long while. You want to talk about a Jovi song that sounds like Petty? I think this was Jon trying to write a Petty song for sure.

I think a poll is in order...

Oh yeah.
I have Theif On Hearts on my "Bon Jovi: Best of The Box" playlist for just that reason.

I certainly don't, I've never really liked it.

Errr...I used to like Wildflower and Captain Crash?
