How exactly is that a good version, with him skipping the longer stretches in the "You" lines all three times? And not even hitting the high notes in the post chorus? Lo Montreal Night 2 shits all over this. As does the best ones from the LH Tour.

This is Always from Boston. Very solid. JBJ gives a good effort from 4:30-4:50. He sometimes skips that part if he's not feeling it. I think he's getting more comfortable with the song as the tour has progressed. Even moved away from the white mic stand at the end!

True.

Richie's solo wasn't even that great, he looked lost for inspiration half way through.

haha! It makes me think of me when I am driving. When I have to do some manouvres that are more difficult to me I hold the wheel tighter as if it helped. Does it help to hit those extremely difficult high notes when you are glued to the mic stand and grab it with your entire strength

Of course, I am kidding, In fact I really respect Jon for his improvement in his vocals that he did this tour and the past tour. Especially now, in 2010 - it is real pleasure to listen to him singing those highly demanding songs,. like Always!

I have to disagree with this. I was at this show and Jon had voice problems and timing problems with this song. I haven't edited mine yet but I do remember cringing a time or two during this.
