Ha nice work Richie, the way he looks at Jon you can tell he knows that he looks daft.

One of my faves:
The first verse is so badly mimed. I love that Jon never really got the hang of it over 27 years.

I love this version - I found a pre-broadcast master DVD of it on e-bay and grabbed it. My recollection was that they weren't at this telethon - they were in Chicago for the Oprah show. But they sent a tape (recording) to be broadcast anyway.

One last upload for today, an old Jon & Richie interview on a show called "Power Hour" in 1986 just before the release of Slippery When Wet. It would seem Jon raided Dorotheas wardrobe for some footwear!

It may seem so, petty that is, but just as in any relationship conflict...it's never about just the one thing.

Even here on the board you'll see complaint after complaint about Richie's sloppiness on this tour. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes. Jon has shown himself to be quite patient if you review the history.

Even without knowing any of the rest of the details that I'm sure exist.... I'd also be pretty annoyed. Messing up something that simple would tell me what kind of mentality you are bringing to the job.

Otherwise, I don't really give a shit about any of this because none of us knows what the deal is to cast any judgement on either of them.
