No casual will no those songs more than they know Captain Crash, I Love This Town or stupid cover songs like "Glad All Over". Pathetic excuse in my opinion.

Bring em back for the next tour Jon, you lazy fool.
Those songs make him sweat, he doesn't like that.

Only some of the diehards, because there are some like me, that could care less about songs off the first two records, if something rare is going to be played, I'd rather it be something off of a record from KTF onward. For me the first two records sound like what they are, a young band on the road figuring out this new life they all have. It had it's place and it's time, but it's almost silly to see tham trying to do it now. Of course it's easy for me to say that since I'm old enough to have seen them play all this stuff back in the day. I know for some of you that have never seen or heard it live really it would be cool.

Prayer, Fargo 2010. I love this performance (only because I was there). The girls singing are awful, though. But look after the second chorus when he sings "liivin on a praaaaaaayer" part. He does it like on the record, but I can't tell if it's playback or not (because of the aforementioned girls' shreiking).

I was there too. Great show. Somewhat surprising, only because I didn't know what to expect in Fargo. But they were great and played an extra long encore.

That girl shrieking? I get that their video was played on the big screen, but man, who does that?

It was a great show indeed. The encore was a little crazy, but I loved it nonetheless.

Apparently Bon Jovi did a "This Is SportsCenter" ad for ESPN in 2000. Very interesting.

I LOVE IT!

I live on ESPN, but in those days, I wasn't a fan of the band, so I guess this promo never registered. Very cool. Thanks for the link.

Which makes me wonder a bit why...I had a long conversation to the lead singer of Bounce, a great German Jovi cover band, and he said that in his opinion (with the exception of some screaming parts, which Jon wouldn't do anyway) the majority of the songs of the first 2 albums aren't hard to sing.

They are if the verses are in a key you're no longer able to reach though. I agree that some stuff on the first 2 albums isn't that hard and should be easy for Jon, but most of it is way too high for him nowadays.

Salaam Aleikum,
