I guess I need to watch it again because I didn't hear struggling vocals at all. I thought his voice sounded very clear and quite good.

Though he sounded great. I though all of the 3 songs actually sounded really clear and good.

I don't think he moved around because he was in a suit. Plus he wasn't a at a BJ concert so no need to work the crowd as per usual.

Jon also tend to put all effort in the vocals at special occasions, when he really wants something to sound good. Look at Have A Nice Day from Live 8 for example.

Watch and listen to it again, and then tell me if you think it's playback or merely that someone has taken a live footage and added the studio version of the song.
