Jon's voice is superb!
I must have watched that performance hundreds of times over the years. Great stuff!

The Crush/OWN-era is such a strange beast in terms of Jon's voice. There are amazing performances like the one you posted or this one (These Days from Gothenburg 2000: ) or numerous performances of Something to believe in as well as Keep the Faith and Always, Blaze of Glory, etc. But then there are performances (e.g. Storytellers in 2000, TYFLM on Top of the Pops, 2000) where he sounds like a strangled cat for the first time since the Slippery tour..

As far as I know there is no audio recording. There is a DVD or video recording though. The camera sound is not as good as an audio recording might be.

Back in the day when nobody was complaining about Jon's voice and they still had fun and sounded fresh:

Yeah, he's on top of his game here. Great song and killer performance.

If you break it down, there was only an 8 year gap between KTF and that performance but yet a 13 year one between then and now.

His '00 vocals are not even in the same ballpark as they are today and shouldn't be compared, even though they fall into that post 2K category.
