You really need new ears!!! Richie sings "FUNKY TOMATO... all night long" !!!
McCartney sang "Scrambled Eggs" until he came up with the words "Yesterday", I suppose that's where Richie's inspiration came from... food, I mean. lol!

So I guess I was way off thinking it was Monk In The Middle

I supposed it's been posted before but I so love this version that I wanted to let you know!

Those days Jon "lived" the songs, not just sang the words as nowadays.

This song is ****ing killer. But Jon sounds terrible on this. It's close to unlistenable.

I knew I'll Be There For You sung by Jon was a rarity in the LH tour, but I had no idea there was a pro-shot version of it! Just found this by accident.

It gets better - they played it during the "acoustic" set on the platform, so Richie still has his acoustic guitar, but the version is electric. So take your guess who played the epic solo on this performance Merry Christmas!

The solo was cut off at least twice.

Bells of Freedom (acoustic / Munich 2011):

Great memory for me since I was at this show and a nice opportunity to step back and think about all the wonderful moments we had with this band over the years.
Merry Christmas!

Very cool video !!
It shows Jon singing live Please Come Home For Christmas in the studio and it also contains a bit of live footage from 1991 December Count Basie Theather. Which really makes me wonder if there is a full video recording somewhere out there.
Merry Christmas everybody!

What I found interesting here is that Jon is seen smoking in the studio (I guess recording Always or Saturday Night), which I thought he picked up only in 1996 when filming The Leading Man. These are two of Jon's finest vocal performances in my opinion, so it was surprising that he was already a smoker then.

!
One could only pray. I don't think this footage is from the Bon Jovi camp though. I think it was a press outlet. Once upon a time ago, Jon was so popular that an event like this was major news.
