Agree. I'm all for the charity work but the political side of Jon is getting old. The only reason why he's not running for office right now is because of his rock star past. He's got some old sketchy pictures out there that would just destroy him.... So this is his alternative.

On the flip side, good for him. At least he's doing something positive and sincere with his celebrity.

Yeah, not knocking what he's doing. I think it's great that he does things like this. It's only the 'power of we' thing that frustrates me.

His charity work is great but I prefered him when he had faith in the "power of they", i.e. Bon Jovi the rock band.
I can't stand his "power of we" phrase either! Each time he pronounces it he looks like a 10 year-old very proud of himself because he thinks he found a magic formula! And now he comes up with B.E.A.T. the double meaning of the word makes it an unlucky choice of name for a charity organization... it makes me think of this song

I'm sure he's paving his way towards a political career with this constant emphasis on charity work and humanitarian stuff, he sure has a load of skeletons in the cupboard but America loves redemption so I wouldn't be surprised to see him running for a mandate within the next decade... Remember that he already wet his lips when he was appointed to a White House council by Obama some years ago.

It will NEVER happen. Whoever he runs against will make a complete fool out of him... The worst being some of the pics of Jon pretending to do drugs..... This is perfect example of social media coming back to haunt you 30 years later.
