This is how you know how good a Bon Jovi song is... When a girl can do this to it...

Since I promised myself not to watch videos of any new songs (besides THINFS, KO and LOL), I had to fill my 'bon jovi belly' with something. So I found this. The Calgary show before which Richie walked away (but before Phil joined).

I really liked this performance, because you can see a lot of emotion in Jon's face (he probably thought about Richie a few times during this one, the song itself kind of relates to the situation) and he really tried his best here both vocally and in terms of audience connection.

Bon Jovi-I'll Be There for You-Calgary April 2, 2013 - YouTube
He looks utterly exhausted. I wasn't able to watch any clips from this show before and it still hurts

And I hated that a lot of people were making fun of their terrible guitar playing/butchering of the songs and cheering on Richie at that time (not here, at least I don't remember it, but in YT, FB, other forums...)
I'm sure the people at the show had a great time and were very grateful that the band managed to pull it off, and that's what really matters, but I felt disgusted back then reading how supposed *fans* supported their band

Well, it didn't help that Jon's voice went to utter shit right after Richie left; thus making the remaining band sound even worse. But I get your point.

On a positive side, that whole 2013 saga at least turned fans on Jon's side after years of him being the 'evil dictator' that is supposedly 'holding the talented Richie back' remarks which I always found nonsensical (including this board!). So while everyone suffered from this situation (especially, fans) at least I was pleased to see Jon gaining respect of die-hards that he didn't have before.
