I agree with this. I had never seen Jon working harder than he did in Munich 2013 when the concert started off badly and the crowd didn't get into it at all. After 8 songs I thought it was going to end in disaster but he worked like a maniac to turn this around on his own and managed it to have the crowd eating out of his hands by the end of the show which also went for 190 minutes. That was one of the most impressive things I've ever witnessed from Jon onstage (given the situation, I had seen overall better shows before) and he gained a lot of respect in my book that night.

I just looked up that show and the crowd are very much into it from the start.
Are you sure you were there?

They were during the first one or two songs, but after seven or eight the infield and the grandstands (don't know about the DC and GC area) were almost dead. Take a look at my review from the show:

It had started off well, but after Lost Highway Jon there was almost no crowd response. Then Jon started to turn it around somehow.

Your post made it look like the crowd were not into it from the start. I think the lull usually happens around the 7-8th song when Jon slows it down at most shows. I think at the bigger venues the energy level drop is really evident.

Yeah, should've worded it better. You may have a point with this, however, out of all 11 stadium shows I've seen from them, this was the one where I had noticed it more than ever. Hence me pointing it out

This song just went up a few points after watching this vocal...
It's all about the chemistry between Jon and Richie!!!

Yeah when you see stuff like this, you'll notice what happened to the voice of Jon over the years. Love his tone on the Crush and Own tours.

Sorry, but from a fan girl perspective, oh. My. God.

But getting back to the subject - lovely vocals.

Such a difference between Album and Live... If produced right, this should could have been much bigger
