Bon Jovi - In These Arms (Soundboard / Sao Paulo 1993) - YouTube
When done at its best In These Arms is one of the best live songs in Bon Jovi entire catalogue. That blew me away.

Agree 100%...IMO this is Jon taking a good song (not great) and turning it into brilliance... it just shows that with the right delivery, any song could be brilliant...

Great version, but what's up with the backing vocals at 5:42 and 5:49 for example? Seems they start way too early, while the guitar seems to be correct? Strange... Backing tracks triggered wrong because of an extra hit by Tico or something?

I guessed that as well since ITA is the only track where we know for sure that backing tracks for the vocals were used in 1993.

These Days and Always from Brisbane '13. As sad as it is to admit, Jon doesn't sound too bad here compared to '17...

PS. I know these performances are available as pro-shot videos as well, but somehow I prefer the "double shot" posted above - after all, the audience source makes Jon's voice sound a bit more bearable. As many of you have mentioned, his vocal issues don't come across as clearly when you actually are there as they do when you're listening to a recording - especially if it happens to be a professional one.

And, for the good times, feel free to enjoy this performance of These Days from Udine '11:

Jon absolutely nails the song here and hits pretty much all the high notes with little to no difficulty. Also, the audience participation towards the end of the performance gives me goosebumps every single time. Holy shit, I miss those times...

I was at this show and it was almost perfect in every way. The Italian fans surprised us all with their choreography early on the show - it was the first time I had seen this and I was blown away. It rained for a while and then it cleared up and the full moon came out - pure magic.

All these factors just led to a magical night - I remember that the original setlist had leaked about three or four songs into the show on the pbp here and they just had about 21 or 22 tracks listed. The audience really pushed them.
Still, going by the quality of the sheer performance, I rate Mannheim the night before higher. But both were great shows I'd kill to hear these days.

Mannheim also rocked - Hey God starting off the encore blew everyone away. Not to mention all the box set songs. Oh how I yearn for the quality of the 2011 tour which wasn't that long ago.
