Yep. The only one that spawned my interest was number 1 with Jon having said that there had been differences throughout the recording process of The Circle with Richie wanting to go back into the 80's sound direction and Jon saying that it would never happen. Have just asked the uploader for the original interview, maybe they'll provide it.

Whoah, listen to the bass line at 1:10. A little wrong, I'd say

Keep us posted. From the comments it looks like they want you to provide them something first so I hope not.

Jon telling Richie to play his guitar parts at home is definitely new information, interesting.

Did you saw the Rio perfomance??? I know that the SP set list was waaaay better than the Rio, but the These Days from Rio was something out of this world. (I know, I was there and that's my favourite song, but this is not harming my judgment - I think )

Two points that for me the Rio version was better:

*Richie didn't ****ed up the solo, as he did in Sao Paulo;
*Jon totally nailed the last part of the song. He includes the "woohoo" and improves the final of the song with a "ain't nobody left but us these daaaayyyysss" Amazing!

Take a look: (it's not the best version from youtube, I think)

I could totally see this happening though... Although I don't hate all the Post 2010 music, the band does seem a little lost with direction however Jon will NEVER go backwards... Richie does seem to have that live in the past attitude.
I personally think the band should go back to the 80's because they are so far removed from it all, it wouldn't sound 80's anyway but it could be interesting none the less...

Those Bad Medicine performances with stage walk and all that on the HAND tour were really great!

Wasn't This Is Love This Is Life written during the TC period? That's, for me, the embodiment of what you just said - a song like the 80s, but not sounding (quite) like the 80s. Maybe Richie wanted more of that, and Jon didn't, and that's why he threw it on the Greatest Hits ('cause we all know how much Jon thinks of compilation albums ). Just sayin'...

Bon Jovi - Bad Medicine / Shout (Milton Keynes 2006) - YouTube
Yeah, but funny that someone would like that stage walk and detest the almost identical one in Working Man (I like both BTW)

But seriously, what's it with the eye makup, Jon?

I definitely fall into the camp of loving the walk and hating the Working Man walk. The Bad Medicine one really lets the song build and looks cool but Working Man just looks like staged choreography to represent factory workers. Might just be me.

Hmm, never thought about factory workers, but you could be right about that one...
