What i'm worried about is that the last song heard here on the radio was maybe superman tonight?? or maybe even hand, so the setlists have to be full of "old" songs, not exactly the ideal situation for jon..maybe that's why they are waiting so long, hoping for some kind of jon's throat rebirth

Both Walleris and you are making good points. What I'm more worried about is, as you said, the state of Jon's vocals. If Jon progresses to sound as horrific as he does these days, a great amount of casuals won't go again after the next tour. So they essentially might have one good European run left in them if they can get a reasonably strong single on the radio.
