I've listened to it a lot the last few days and, on any given moment, it's about the best music to me! The songwriting seems so sincere and really showcases Jon on top of his game in that field. Plus the sound (which someone here once described as muffled) of the album has something to it that captures me. To connect to the post above - it kind of feels like being taken back to a certain, more simplistic time and it lets your imagination run free.
For anyone who hasn't tried it yet - next time you have a long car drive through the night ahead of you, put that album on. It takes you on a ride like no other.  |
