Some will gladly admit it.

I used to be pen pals with a lady who spent her 50th birthday at a Bon Jovi show. She said she was "pushed, shoved, thrown up on... and it was the best birthday she ever had!" LOL She met Jon a few weeks later at a FC trip to Hawaii (Secret Society club) and told her about it. He gave her a hug and sang Happy Birthday to her.

Here <raises hand> and I have no problem admitting it. I was in my mid-30s when I became a fan in the later 80's. I grew up on rock concerts and still love them - I have friends (my age) who feel that they are too old for "that sort of thing I have tickets for 4 of the upcoming shows and can't wait.

I'm not there yet I'm 42 but like Kathleen i love live shows and get told by my "friends" that I'm too old for it, to which i just laugh, buy my tickets and go enjoy myself. I figure if the band ain't too old to play it i'm not too old to go watch it.

Hey now... you don't have to be 50 to be a fan from the 80's! LOL Some of old codgers in our 30's remember when Bad Name propelled the band into the stratosphere!

Count me in. I remember sitting and watching MTV one fateful day when a new band named Bon Jovi released their first video, Runaway. I was hooked.
