These Days is my desert island album

there must be a reason why i have 5 versions of it, one on vinyl, one on cassette (my first copy) the remastered cd, the special edition 2disc and the normal copy

That's why I say they are here and there brillant - not all over the record and I agree there are previous albums which have better guitars. But it's not that much about solo-ing but about something the rythm part has like for example MY GUITAR LIES BLEEDING IN MY ARMS or HEY GOD.
Some solo's do also kick ass.

HEY GOD - come on, I think it has some of the most difficult vocal part BJ have ever recorded.
And It also gives me the feeling that every songs has appropiate vocals which is not the case with any other record. I mean from BJ to BOUNCE, there are songs which would have sounde better with different vocals. NOT on THESE DAYS.

These Days is easily my favourite... i just think its the most realistic album they have made, and I can relate to it alot more then others.

Except for the vynil and the remaster I have three copies too. And the casette was my first copy as well!
