are we going to hear beforehand if we have tix? couldnt make that out, says to reply quickly to get allocated tickets.

Yep, I got the Stand-by email too.....

Have requested 2 tickets, but not sure if I'll go. Gonna cost me £10-15 to get there, which is a waste if I end up not getting in.
Will wait and see if I do get the stand by tickets, then make a decision on Monday morning.

I've gone to shows on stand-by before and been left outside..... Nothing more frustrating than spending 3 or 4 hours in a queue only to not get in.

I got the following email for standby... you do have to go early to queue , my daughter has done it and managed to get in another show from another site on standby but the artist wasnt as popular.

If I went it would cost me £100 to get there and I dont fancy standing outside in Nov for hrs for possibly nothing , so Im not going.

You recently applied for tickets to see Monday's big ITV one-off music show. Tickets for the show have been tremendously popular and unfortunately you have not been successful this time in being issued tickets.

As you were among the next block of applicants after those who were successful, we have an offer which may be of interest to you.

We are issuing a number of standby tickets so that, if ticket-holders do not use all of their tickets, those with standby tickets will be admitted to the venue. We expect to be able to accommodate at least some standby ticket-holders. Standby tickets will not guarantee entry though, so please do not apply if you need to have guaranteed tickets to make your journey worthwhile. There are a limited number of standby tickets and we shall allocate the standby tickets in the order that we hear from people.

After the standby tickets have been issued, we shall not be issuing any further tickets for this event.

TV shows generally treat the audience like dirt whether standby or not so be prepared to queue for hours for no reward. But its worth a shot if you are local, so I may jump on the tube and give it a bash

True - they'll probably have a 3 different levels, Priority Ticket (friends, families and groupies), Standard Ticket, and then the waifs and strays on Stand-by.

Am thinking I'll give it a miss.....

It's a 1 hour show with other footage, so I'd reckon 4 or 5 tracks in total (Prayer, Wanted, Bad Name, WWBTF, What Do You Got)

They'll definately play Who Says and It's My life

So if everyone has this stand by ticket e-mail, then won't there be a looooooooooooooooooooong queue of people waiting to get in? How will they get all of those people into the studio??!
