just got my stand-by e ticket, says that they hope to accommodate all people with stand -by tix so i may turn up at 3pm and see if i can get in

No - you had to reply to the stand by email and then the first batch to respond would get the tickets.

Didn't Jonathon Ross try that and it ended up a load of people shoved in a room watching the broadcast on a tiny tv ? :s

i got a stand by e ticket also info on what to do and where to go, decided to go even tho its a 3-4 hour drive!

Got a standby pair but don't finish work till 5 so prob won't have much chance of getting in but prob give it a go anyway

Literally just got the email offering me 2 stand-by tickets.....

Choices, choices, choices.....

Not sure whether I'll bother or not.
On the positive side, it's well organised as they will be issuing numbered wristbands to the queue. Means I can go early, get wristband then go for a wander.
So do I take a half day from work?!
