Thank you OP for sharing this, great interview!

Like any good addict, unless he has a reason for accountability or hits a physical bottom - the most likely response is denial. "If" he's surrounded himself with enablers - he has a ready defense if challenged about it. RSO is in Nashville for her to play with Carrie Underwood, then Japan, then she has said back to OZ for the holidays and the traditional Hi for New Years - he probably won't acknowledge this interview unless he's corned by a reporter.

Jon imo tried to keep it subtle but there comes a breaking point and he keeps getting the same questions. His analogy of the ticket buyer is so spot on - he understands that fan is let down. Anyone remember the Randi Reed article back in 2013? I know there was a thread - sounds like she was right.

What publications did u see the reviews? U know what is funny is that a couple of weeks ago when the songs were coming out and Bon Jovi started performing them live, almost everyone here is raving about it, saying that Jon was back and in better form, the songwriting was better, etc. Now all of a sudden because of this review now some of you are saying that album is not as good anymore, and the main reason is because of John Shanks. I think this person who reviewed the album for Ultimate Rock Magazine is a little prejudice against Shanks because he is more of the pop/rock genre than pure rock or heavy rock, and I think this reviewer is more biased than anything. I think the more heavy rock reviewers will not be too thrilled with this album, but I think the mainstream reviewers, especially from mainstream publications might be a little more fair, I say a little more because we know that Bon Jovi were never critics darling anyway, that is a fact, JMO.

"He drapes his arm around the neck of the new guy now, but it doesn’t look right"

This interviewer really nails his observations.

The is absolutely FAKE!!!! I've been following Jon way too long and this is not him...

Bullshit '“Yeah. I swear on my career, and on my children, there was no fight. He has [he waves an imaginary bottle] issues and he can’t deal with them."

No ****ing way!!!! Jon repeats himself in every interview so they just took his quotes and added in the rest... I was going to say 'well done' but it really wasn't...

Don't fall for this crap

You may as well make this claim against Newsweek or Time, U.S. based peer magazines.

It's a UK magazine....a reputable one at that. There is nothing to fall for. It is what it is.

Jon just so happened to have a breaking moment for this reporter? Not Stern or any other friends but this person? It's the internet dude... Publish it and sell it in a real magazine, then we'll talk...

I know it's hard to imagine that the crazy American Trump supporter is the only one around here with common sense but it is what it is...

The guy who wrote that review used to post here, APK876, he's a good guy but has been disillusioned with Bon Jovi since the LH tour and the Prudential shows as far as ticket prices. So, I'm not shocked it's a harsh review.

It is a real magazine, since 1913, and he does have his relationships with people over there.

Some people want to believe everything they read but it's all garbage... Jon's been doing way too many interviews lately so if I don't hear him say any of this verbally, I won't believe it...

'We didn't have an argument but I told him to get sober or get out... And stop dating Hollywood whores" Yeah!!! Okay!!!!

I'm done with this topic... believe what you want people.... And Hillary isn't a liar either!!!!

The reporter of this article isn't saying that is what Jon said. He was quoting other sources. They were the reports were coming out at the time.
