Saying Jon makes mistakes but then never agreeing when someone points out a mistake he makes makes the fact that you're admitting his mistakes completely stupid, as you do not know what his mistakes are, and therefore thinks he's perfect. You're just saying he makes mistakes because a human being makes mistakes, but not for the mistakes themselves. Everytime someone makes a topic here about Jon and the things he does wrong several people like Jovi2003 etcetera jump on them saying it isn't fair to point them out because he's human, which leads to the conclusion that they're just blind followers who like everything he does because he is Jon.

That was not what she said. She said that his mistakes helped the band surviving over the last 20 years. Then why is it such a coincidence that since Jon has become much more arrogant, more bored, looks less into the songs the music itself also has become much more worse ?

Yep you're right, I don't like the guy that much anymore. I've seen him live several times now and he wasn't on it as much as he used to be, he's just going on stage, doing his thing and goes off. And that's not a good thing when it comes to music. And this board is not full of people who do like him as much as you wish them to like him, there's a reason why backstage hates us jovitalkers that much ; because we don't love Jon that much as they do. Because we are able to see the stupid steps he's taken the last 5 years.

You are unbelievable. I cant believe that a) you pick apart Jons actions like that and b) put up such flimsy arguments to justify yourself. Now before I get called a blind follower, I am not. Jon has faults, as a person and as a professional but doesnt everyone. OK some of the performances may not be as good as they could be but Jons being doing this for 20 years. Everyone has bad days at work and after 20 years I'm sure that at times being a rock star is tedious. Can you imagine being away from your family for months at a time(although I'm sure they would appreciate it) and having to put everything into entertaining thousands of people every night after travelling for god knows how many hours during the day. Doesnt sound too appestising to me yet Jon is still widely acknowledged as one of the best and hardworking front men in the business.

As for the cigerette and image???? I like Bon Jovi for the music not for image. If I listented to musicians for their image Id be a huge Britney fan. I thought you were intelligent enough to see through that crap.

As for disrespecting Richie. WTF????? Jon is always quick to praise Richie, more so than other frontman. Ive never heard Bono laud the Edge, or Liam praise Noel etc the way Jon does Richie. If he was playing guitar or singing backing vocals during Richie's performance, no doubt you and other pathetic little nit pickers(Hi Thierry) would accuse Jon of trying to upstage Richie.

First off , don't give yourself that much importance. Contrary to your belief no one at BSWJBJ even talks about jovitalk, or the people who post here. Yet you and some others here, do nothing but bash Backstage members. You don't know us all. Don't lump us all into one category, please.

Second, Do you know Jon personally? Has he TOLD you he is bored, tired, uninterested? You make your assumptions on what he is "thinking" based on what? The fact he dared to light a cigarette while Richie took the spotlight?
You claim he has not given his all during the Bounce tour, others claim otherwise. You are entitled to your opinion. You are not entitled to try to force your way of thinking on the rest of us.

I'm also gonna go out on a limb and have a guess that you've used the "They don't even do world tours any more" complaint. Yet, you complain when they're tired at the end of a world tour, and maybe can't keep up the act anymore. I tell you, when I get tired, if anyone comes near me, I just won't wanna know. Imagine being absolutely exhausted, and having to perform night after night in front of thousands of people.
