I don't see Jon as being perfect in any way, he may be anything but. However, picking out everything that you think is wrong about him is getting pretty old, ridiculous, and is quite unnecessary. I also think it is pretty childish. Guess you have nothing better to do than to ridicule others and be picky about everything Jon says or does. You don't like him, that's fine, but you don't have to piss on him every chance you get.

How does everyone know that his back was turned throughout the entire performance? It is just one image. He could have just turned for a second, and it was caught on film.

I have to give it to Seb though, this is an interesting way to start a discussion.

what comes to smoking, it is kind of an image thing. With some artists is all ok, but somehow it makes jon look like an ass. After all, smoking doesnt quite fit the cheesy image that jovi has. Like posted, him smoking sure appears as "I don't give a s*'t & I wanna go home"

I agree with you here... I wonder how many people smoke here???? Just because it's Jon Bon Jovi.. OH MY GOD... Jon is smoking, he is the worst person in the world.

Tico doesn't look less interested when he smokes while drumming, Jon does.

This is a screenshot from the vid, and he was smoking the entire performance, and stood with his back to the crowd while Richie was singing during the entire performance. And he looked uninterested during a lot of performances.

I think he's just an arse for not having enough respect towards the fans while they're seeing the last show of the TD tour. Yes the band was tired and wanted to go home, but yet I think he could just pretend he goes for it so we wouldn't notice. You people blame other singers like Axl Rose or Liam Gallagher for looking like they're not interested at all while singing, but in fact Jon is doing the same nowadays, and it started in the end of the TD tour.

Like I said, they're screenshots from the vid I've seen, and because marijuana if officially accepted here doesn't make me accept the "I'm not interested in you" look from Jon. You missed the point.

Fans are reeling from shock, as they were under the impression he was a robot that never needed any kind of maintenance, never gave anything less than 600% and never showed any discernable human traits including flaws. Sweet merciful God. I'm a very optimistic man, but it's bs like this that makes me lose hope for humanity. Did you ever think Jon was turning his back because.. gee, I don't know, HIS BEST FRIEND IS IN THE SPOTLIGHT AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO INTRUDE???!!!! Back track over your bootlegs and official DVDs kids. Count the number of times Jon draws attention to Richie. It's a lot.

- Wild is the Wind, San Jose 2001, before the intro "By the way, this is Richie Sambora over here"
- During one song in Wembley 95, he did the Wayne's World "We're not worthy" bow as Richie played.

There are a lot of others, not to mention the innumerable points and gestures when the solos kick in. Jon thinks the world of Richie. Anybody with an ounce of perception and functioning eyes can see that. They're best friends. They would've killed each other or split long before now if they weren't. Richie was playing one of his songs for the crowd, and in that shot I see someone trying to remain inconspicuous so his friend can have a well deserved turn in the spotlight. I'd have done the same. When Richie sang I'll Be There for You, a song he wrote, on the last tour I heard he left the stage altogether.

And he smoked during one song!!! Oh no, get him to the gallows! Freddie Mercury drank beer, wine and sometimes had smokes during shows. Did this mean he didn't care about his performance? Of course not. He gave a big chunk of his last days recording more material for us. And I heard nothing but insane cheering when he said "Queen would like to drink a special toast to you. Cheers!"

Tico smokes while drumming. Tell me how you can drum like he does and NOT look interested in what you're doing. Honestly. Tell me. You HAVE to be interested or you'll **** up. Slash smokes while playing. Tell me how you can say if he looks interested or not? Do you have x-ray powers to see through the shades and the curtain of hair? I've seen plenty of musicians drink or smoke on stage, and then go on to do another hour or more of playing. What, they're not allowed to have a little pleasure as they work so hard to entertain you? They're not superhuman you ****ing retards. A bass player in my Dad's band drank so much beer during shows I'm amazed he didn't pass out, and smoked, but he never stopped playing and never gave shows less than everything he had.

And poopy face? What are you, five? I can't make shit out on that photo. It looks like someone sneezed on the lense. How do you how what his expression is?

Jon's loaded kids. He doesn't need more money. If he was the money fiend some of you sometimes make him out to be, he wouldn't take such long breaks from music. He does it cause he loves it. They all do.

Frankly, I'm amazed Jon hasn't pulled a Jay and Silent Bob and hunted some of you guys down and kicked your asses. Hell, I'd pay good money to see it. You guys bitch and moan and complain like spoiled children and act like your opinion is the be all and end all, and yet... the records keep selling, and the shows keep packing them in. You guys are the only morons bitching and everyone else (and no, critics don't count, sorry. They were slagging them off in their prime too) keeps saying what great performers they all are. Of course you're allowed to express negative views. But I never cease to be amazed at the way some of you react when someone disagrees with you.
