Outraged people in Middle East should send them Bounce + mail bombs.

Yes, it is Becky. The band, BJM, Backstage... they had NOTHING to do with this. This is not a promotional stunt by any means.
The stupidity of fans over at Backstage has reached its all time high.

They want to pay US troops (who are not heroes but brainless zombies who follow orders and kill other people in the process) additional money for killing innocent people and trying to occupy the land and steal its oil.

This must be a start of a new revolutionary CDs-for-oil program.
Every death in this war affects hundreds of people. Maybe you have been so fortunate to never have experienced someone close to you dying in a war. Maybe you weren't a relative of one of the men who were shown as POWs on the television. Maybe you don't even know what it's like to go to a foreign land, give up your entire life, and put the future of your nation before yourself. They are fighting for the Iraqi people. They are fighting for us. They are not fighting so they can see a big paycheck at the end of the day. Putting other people before yourself is what I consider a hero, and to call them mindless zombies just proves your lack of compassion.

Forgot to say that the band is totally against this attack! They wouldn't like to have their song played on a battlefield!!
It's Bush's War! I'm not gonna help it!

They may be against war, but I know that Bon Jovi is supporting our troops. THAT'S WHAT THIS IS ABOUT.

Wow, I guess they'll let anyone post here these days.

Please, please understand the US/British troops are victims if this war as much as the Iraqis are. They have no other choice. They do what Bush says. Because Bush is elected by American people.

It is Bush and his government you should be angry with if you disapprove. Fight them. And troops need our support. They are innocent victims of the war.

in which case i wouldn't do anything like this without the band's approval

do you think Bruce would have liked Born in the USA to be taken to all the US troops for patriotic upheaval ?

Yes, and you know everything at the age of 15. Please reply again when you get some perspective, perhaps in 5-10 years.

They are fighting because the monkey man ordered them to fight, as someone already stated on this board - they are soldiers, not allowed to disobey their orders.

If anyone, those extremist suicude bombers who reportedly arrived to Iraq from other countries are fighting for a cause!

these HEROES, are over there fighting so many of us can have the PRIVILEGE of watching TV or browsing the internet.
i've done these things perfectly well since the 1st gulf war - what difference does it make now?

We want to send them a gift and you're basically denouncing it. Good for you.
send them books then of War and Peace or Crime and Punishment or a better idea - let them read/listen to what the hell they like - they could take their own music if they want - they don't need you to send it to them

And no, if you told me to shut up I would not shut up.
hypocrisy - i don't want you to, but don't say the same in turn to me

Everyone knows you don't like Bounce. Everyone knows you think Bon Jovi is a tarnished band. I guess the only reason you did post was not to inform us of your opinion, but to start something.
Think what you like - why did you feel the need to post this here?

What is truth? What, you want a f*&^ing dictionary? Truth is a word that, for me, cannot be defined. It's a feeling, a sentiment. You figure it out
fine you've said what i knew you would say and wanted you to...

truth is a word to be defined in a way:

Iraq truth: ... invading our country and trying to destory us
US truth: invading and trying to liberate

It's your decision. And we really have no clue what the band thinks about it.

I personally feel that we should do something for those people. And if you don't want to send them Bounce, that's ok, send them something else. There should be the list of things you are allowed to send somewhere. Let's show them that people care about them.

it can't be that low (morale)... only 11 days into the fighting... and there have been no heavy coalition casualties or real failures...

if they have low morale already then the war will be lost

they have my best wishes - i don't need to bake them a cake to let them know this. The peaceful elements of Iraq have my sympathy also... maybe i should send them Bounce
