OWN and Undivided

There are a lot of great album-tracks from the post-2000 albums that could have spiced up the set lists these days, at least have them in a rotation list. Just Older, One Wild Night, Undivided, Misunderstood, Story of My Life, Any Other Day, Love's the Only Rule, Thorn In My Side etc. - all great live songs that would add some freshness instead of tired picks like Lost Highway, Born To Follow, Sleep, Captain Crash and so on.

Sleep is a good song live , so no need to drop it. I agree with the others songs though

It's a great live song, yes, but it has also been done to death. Much like the case with We Got It Goin On. Also a good live song, but it could need a good rest for a few years.

Exactly, a casual fan who last went to see them 10 years on the LH tour for example would have heard it, and anyone else has heard Sleep/WGIGO for the most part every tour. It wouldn't hurt to drop one or both and have something like One Wild Night / Say It Isn't So / Misunderstood take its place. Those 3 are both rare and are all singles with videos that had decent rotation at the time, so its not as if people are going to not know them.

I should drop OWN and Story of My Life here. OWN is my favorite from the Crush album but the last performance of this song on the LH tour says it all. The tempo was so slow and Jon even struggled singing it. Story of My Life is a great live song but Jon's current vocals will ruin it. It will be okay if he whispers but there are no BV's that will sing along with him in the chorus. Just look at the newer songs, most of them are sing-alongs.


BAT and No Apologies would be great fresh additions. Everyday and Undivided would be great too!

I think Story of My Life coul be agood addition. It's not very demanding vocally, and it's also one of the few songs where Richie didn't sing backing vocals at all during live performances so you wouldn't really miss his voice.
