Default Pandora's Box

I just bought the Aerosmith Boxset Pandora's Box, and it got me thinking about the Bon Jovi 20th Anniversary one.

Before now I would have just liked to see a 2 disc set, the first like Crossroad, with maybe one or two new tracks, and the second disc with a mix of demos and live tracks.

Pandora's Box features 3 discs, with each one featuring a mixture of classic, live and unreleased tracks. They are not in any order, but each disc sounds great, as there are a mix of tracks.
(I don't know if any of you have this, but it is really good)

This would probably be the best solution for the Bon Jovi set. Not limiting each disc to a particular style, so that each disc covers classic, live and unreleased tracks.

What do you think?

Personally, I'm a military person at heart- I must have NEATNESS!

Lol!

I would like to see it as one Disc Crossroads style, with more tracks, including unreleased but that were on albums, One Live one (better than OWN- which was a load of parp compared to what it should have been) and one with demos, funny ones, bonus tracks, etc.

But that's just me!

Good Question!

To be perfectly honest, i dont particularly have any preference of what I would like in the box set.

I really hope that there won't be tracks that already surfaced in the studio albums. I really see no point of that. I bought Crossroad because of the 3 new tracks and even then I felt that greatest hits album are like a bit ripoff for the fans. Its goal is for the new people.
However, boxsets are usually intended for the diehards. I'd rather have the b-sides, demos, acoustic versions and rare live stuff. I'm sure they got enough to fill in a 5 disc set.

I have Pandoras Box by AS - Its pretty good. It is actually in order - sort of; starting from the beginning of their career it charts classic tracks, demos, unfinished / work in progress tracks & live tracks - up until night in the Ruts. So u can see how they developed etc.. through their career.

This could work for BJ (although it'd need to be around 5-6 CDs).

It would contain BJ classics: Prayer, KTF etc... To make it appeal to the mainstream. Littered with demos / unreleased tracks, WIP's & Live tracks.

What´s the point of releasing another Best Of after 3 albums.

It would be absolutely brilliant if they´d release a 4 CD-Box each disk with live/acoustic tracks, demos/b-sides and a lot of unreleased fun songs
