The band was already recording These Days when Always was released. These Days was actually DELAYED becaues of the success of Cross Road. It was initially supposed to have been released in April, but Always was still in the Top 10 and it was too soon to release another single. These Days' release was pushed to June and the band was already on tour when it came out.

No The song was meant to the soundtrack to Romeo Is Bleeding, but since the band didnt like the film, they released it on Crossroad instead.

yes but she was talking after the decision what made not to put on the soundtrack while they were already recording for TD (sex sells at that time)

Yes, it was pulled from Romeo is Bleeding because Jon didn't like the way the movie turned out. At the same time, they were writing These Days and Jon didn't think it was appropriate for These Days because it didn't fit in the mood of the CD. He thought it would have a chance to shine on the greatest hits CD. Both things are true about the song.

I'm glad there's a new album on the way, but I don't wana get my hopes up again. Myself and most people here got the original impression that HAND was going to be a seriously good rock album "back to their roots", and although it was consistantly better than Crush and Bounce, its still a far cry from the album we all hoped for. So I'm thinking if I don't build my hopes up and instead just "expect" another HAND, I might be pleasently surprised. I'm sure I'll like it anyway.

Its not as bad as everyones making out. HAND, I Want To Be Loved, Welcome To Wherever You Are, Last Man Standing and Bells Of Freedom are brilliant songs. WSYCGH is a matter of taste. Its just annoying that all the good songs are piled at the start.

I think HAND is a GREAT CD. There are only 1 song that I really hate (any guesses?) and 1 that I can take or leave (Wildflower). So for me to have ANY CD that I only skip 2 songs on is pretty good.
