I guess, sambo-Chris is right...a friend of mine who lives in Australia + is a bj-fan as well + is working for their record company, once told me that Australia is much to expensive to tour for (not only for BJ). I guess thats also the reason why they "only" play at festivals there. She also said that Jon said it in one interview Anyway, maybe you got luck anyway!!!

Default petition

you all seem to be fixated on the idea that i am telling everyone about the petition. How many times do i have to say it IF YOU DONT WANT TO SIGN THEN DONT SIGN.....IF YOU, DO THEN SIGN!!!!!!!!
i am letting people know from other countries to give them the opportunity to sign.....i am not pming anyone anymore
And what is wrong with me doing this petition if it gives me something to do in the day time while i am immobilised????
please stop bringing my spirits down....if the petition doesnt work then its my problem not yours!!!!!!
I have asked to have this thread deleted because of all the abuse I am recieving. but it wont be taken down so if you all think for one second i like all this then think again
I wish i never came here with my petition idea....but thankyou to the people who have supported me

No, the point is, let's say in the perfect world, your petition works. If you ask people not from Australia to sign it, regardless of it being their choice, you're giving them the option. What if more people that arent from Australia sign it than those who are. The band puts on the concert and the attendence is only 1/3 of playing place.

If the purpose of the petition is to get a band to play in X place, then it should be signed only by those who are willing to SEE The band, if it goes through, or else the band spends a TON of money on a show with a shitty attendence.

Exactly.

k, I haven't been offensive to you in any way. Yet, you haven't explained why non-Australians should sign this. Honestly, this makes no sense. Read again what Captain_jovi said.

Yes, I ignored it too, but I then came on here and saw this thread and thought that was too much. At any rate, it's no big deal after all. I'm not signing because I don't think it's worth it, but each to their own I guess.
