Phil X dislike(d) Bon Jovi?

Well, I think that songs like Dry County or These Days are 1000 times better than Wanted, and in widely known songs, if I take 3 random people of the streets and tell them Bon Jovi, they're going to say "It's My Life".

I like Wanted, it's one of their best songs, I just never got all the hype about it.

Wanted was THE BJ song that every other band could relate to. DC and TD are almost unknown compared to the slippery hits and IML is what young people that don't listen to BJ know.

If Phil X is the singer there, I think he sings awesome.

those comments are just his sense of humour... he has a big mouth and tries to be funny - given that the majority of people you see at drills gigs are stuck up guitarists who worship steve vai (note: got nothing against vai, just stuck up guitarists) that sort of thing is gonna go down well...

I also think he's a better singer than he is a guitarist... he's great at playing stuff other people have written but his own solos tend to be a bit 'hey look what I can do while adding literally nothing worthwhile to this song' - he's written some cool riffs though.

I suppose we'll agree to disagree then. Wanted is a classic and is Bon Jovi's anthem.

I watched Phil X doing the dry county solo live.I was embarassed for him.

Just to clarify, I don't deny that Wanted is a classic and it's a great song. But I think if one had to say the definitive Bon Jovi song, the one that will lead the obituary (despite what Jon thinks/says/wants) and is there magnum opus as far as overall popular culture it's Prayer.
