Default Phone ring in "Everyday"?

Hey!

This is for those who´ve got good ears. I have noticed it already in other BJ songs (such as "Dry County") and now, after hearing "Everyday" in its fullest (3'03") and with high quality, I can hear something like a phone ringing at 0'22". Interesting, eh?

Can you hear that?

I heard the phone ringing in a couple of his songs Of course they are not coming to me now but I will listen and get back to post them. My husbasd always called me crazy and said I didn't know what I was talking about.

i always thought those both were intentional keyboard noises.

just listened to dry county- for me it doesn't sound like a ringtone but it's similar to my "you've got mail" sound ))
for sure it's an intentional keyboard sound! he continues playing it and then he goes with the cymbals

phone ringing... that's funny.
In Dry County I'm pretty sure it's neither a phone nor the keyboard. For me it sounds like those I-don't-know-what-they-are-called things Tico uses for the intro of Wanted for example.
I can't hear the Everyday "phone". The sound quality is not good enough and my version doesn't go to minute 3.03... Note to myself: get a better one.
The barking in I'll be there for you... No clue. Could be a finger sliding across the strings but it doesn't really match with what the guitar is playing. Maybe it's Obie.

Of course they are intentional noises, but it just sounds pretty much like a phone ring

Yeah! Every time I listen to Dry County, I also think the phone's ringing. It sounds funny I think.
