Why? You dont need them. The band are very private about their personl lives. You should respect this.
Well said I was about to say the same!

Pix from their kids don't belong on the net
Thank you Marijke. No-one here needs to know what the bands children look like. Its sick if you ask me.

Well turn it around on all these people who seem to want pictures of the band's children; how would you like it if your children where photographed and those photos where available on the Internet so everyone knew what your children looked like?

What about the people that don't like you or are mentally ill or something, and they come after your kids because they saw them on the Internet?

See how you'd like it then.

But all this doesn't take away that Jon and Richie showed their kids in front of more then 100.000 people while realizing everybody was seeing them.

Perhaps they wanted to go on stage though. If my parents were like Jon or Richie and I had the chance to go on stage with them I would; wouldn't you? They wouldn't have gone on if they hadn't wanted to anyway.

not really a reason seb.

football players bring their kids out onto the park when they win the league or cup so they can celebrate with their dad, doesn't mean they want their kids pics out in public.

Be satisfied with the pics whicjh are brought outside by the media( when the band agrees) and give those guys an opportunity to have a private life.

How would you feel if you were in their shoes????
If I were in their shoes? I think people have to go into show business realizing that, if you're even a little bit popular, people want to know more about you. Including more about your personal life. Perhaps it's none of their business, but honestly, I don't think people do it to be mean or intrusive. I think they do it because they like the person and they're gueninely interested in that person's life outside of the business.

I also think you shouldn't jump on someone for being curious about their kids, wives, etc. It's natural and people should allow for that.

However, I commend Jon and the guys for keeping their children out of the press and giving them "normal" lives.

Some children pimp their children out for the press (read: Gwyneth Paltrow) while others keep their lives simple and quiet. It's hard to know exactly what's right.

And saying the mentally ill people might do something to your children? Sweeping generalization and terribly offensive. Not all mentally ill people are going to attack you and/or your children. I suspect that a lot of mentally ill people are more concerned about getting better and leading a normal life than worrying about celebrities kids. Learn more about mental illness because you comment on it in such ways.

i have to admit that sometimes i'm curious what their kids look like. wanting to see their kids doesn't mean you'll start chasing them to take their pictures or sell them to a magazine or the internet. it's the same (for me) as if i had a friend on the internet who had kids. i would like to see what her/his kids would look like.
i don't even search for their kids' pictures on the internet (well, i hardly search for the band's pictures) but if someone showed me a picture i wouldn't say "oh that's not right blah blah blah"....
i think that most of us (if not all) feel a bit curious sometimes and all these about what's ethic and what's not are kinda ridiculous imo.

I think you missed Seb's point. If they wanted to go on stage or not has nothing to do with the fact that Jon and Richie brought their kids out there for all to see. Everyone was taking pictures and such. I am not saying it is wrong, but if they were so intent on keeping their kids hidden, they wouldn't bring them out on a stage to dance for the audience.
