Of course they wanted their kids out in public. They are on a stage dancing for the audience, not celebrating with their dads in the background. The kids were the center of attention for those few minutes. It is a bit different.

When the kids are on stage, that means every bandmember knows they will be seen and taken pictures of. When you ahve a new born baby, being happy with it..you should keep that in private.
I ment, as soon as Tico thinks it`s time to show his child he will do so. Till that time, no one should be asking/ taking pictures. Just give them a break!
They are aware of the fact thet being famous, means you don`t have a "normal"live, but on the otherhand you can try do have one. I know Jon takes his kids to school. Does that mean someone has to be on the corner taking a picture? Or when he wants to eat icecream wit them?
When they ask reporters to make opics, it`soon enough. When they take kids on stage that means you van have/ make your precious picture.

I know I wouldn`t want all my fans to have pics of my kids.

Well let me tell you something!

It's not about me or anyone else. It's just something that I know happend. A girl went for a bite at a donut thing. Then Dave with wife and kids walked in. They had an ice cream and so on. She was frozen and just watched to see how dave was with his kids. That is they way it should be. Whould you be happy when your dad is famous all fans hang around his neck when he is with you?

You wanna play, you gotta pay. There are worse things in life than being rich and famous along with having adoring fans.

I don`t agree. If Jon is somewhere alone or even with his wife, well, then they know it`s part of th ejob. But those kids don`t know and they are yet too young to cope with it. Though I wonder if kids of any age can ever handle the fact their dad or mum is famous. Look how many of them have problems in real life?
I think it`s really great the band tries to keep their kids out of th espotlights.
And by the way...why should you be interested in some 4 year olds, or a baby crying all along the way or a teenager that wants to find out who he or she really is.
