playing undivided?

I got undivided e-mail by 3 people from the board. All 3 are .dat files. How can i listen to them. I have media and realplayer with latest updates but they both say they cant read it.

Anybody please?

I guess there went something wrong. The original one is a mpeg-file that you can hear with Real player if it is from the link that was given here by someone for downloading.

Have you tried to rename the .dat file to mpeg or mp3? You are usually supposed to be able to play .dat files with Media Player. That's what you do when watching a VCD movie through media player.

Have you tried converting it? You can get free conversion software on the web.

yep tried that 2. i get the message the codec couldnt be opened?
