A video for The Distance could have been cool. Actually, there was one on that QVC DVD wasnt there? I want one of those

Cool

Bouce is one of the worst songs from the album and the album is a total crap so figure out how good Bounce is..

And Live.. Ohhhh Live.. It's much worse.. I can't stand knowing that Jon is getting vocally tired just to give us (the fans) this shitty track jumping all over the stage.

I assume you're taking the piss !! Right Side of Wrong is the single most embarrassing Jovi song of all time (only decent solo on the album though).
Slip your sweatsocks in your shirt and pray they think you're packing (cough!)
Don't get fancy Ricky, we aint Jimmy Cagney (wretch!!)
By the way have you heard any of the recent Whitesnake albums or the last Van Halen album with (Cringe) Gary Cherone.
Pretty poor album overall, never liked The Distance, too overproduced with all the stupid string bits in it. Quite liked Undivided, Bounce should have been a single but wasn't great live and I really liked Joey (Slightly embarrassing I know). Shows how misguided Jon is when he says Open All Night was perfected on Bounce. These Arms Are Open All Night is a classic Bon Jovi song as long as you leave out the awful Beatles pastiche in the middle. Can't really say I'm pining to hear anything off Bounce. I'd love to hear some songs off These Days though.

Well, actually Right Side Of Wrong was the only song of that album that I liked.Good melody, good solo, nice vocals. Ok, the lyrics might be a bit corny but at least Jon wrote about something else than LIVING HIS LIFE or about how you should live your life.

I actually found Van Halen III quite a decent album. Much better than a few Hagar ones so I don't really get the point although I must admit that I lstened to it like 3-5 times in total. Still way better than Bounce or Thickskin.

And about Whitesnake. I don't know if they did anything after Restless HEart but don't tell me that's not better than Bounce. Come on, that's a real Whitesnake record. Same style, same melodies. And Restless Heart, the song is one of the best ****in songs Whitesnake have recorded. And Don't Drift Away...awesome ballad. On the other han I don't think they released anything aftrewards.

I can't tell you that, haven't listened to any other album, but I wouldn't rate it higher as a 2, on a scale from 1 to 10. In my opinion, everything is below par, with the exception of 3 songs, but none of those are or will become classics.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
I would like to add that I listened to some other albums...quite a few actually.

Lyrics aside it just sounds like a reject from Blaze of Glory to me, I've never liked it. Hey we're all entitled to our opinion though and you like it so that's cool.
Go and listen to Van Halen III again though, I convinced myself it was ok at first aswell but it's absolute crap. I actually like most of the Hagar albums but was never keen on his ballads. As far as Whitesnake go I got Slip Of The Tongue (mainly crap), Coverdale/Page (Awful) and his solo album where his voice sounds shot to pieces, I never made it to Restless Heart.

No matter how bad you find those Whitesnake albums, they are still better than BOUNCE. I don'tknow if Coverdale has more solo records but I know Into The Light which AGAIN sounds like an old-school hard rock record. BOUNCE doesn't even sound like a record but like a compilation. CHEESY wannabe ballads with crapy wannabe rock songs -3 'heavy' songs, 3 ballads one heavy song, one ballad...and that's how it goes to the very end where. I repeat, when i say heavy i mean 'heavy'.

They will make All about Lovin you a mainstay of the Have a Nice Day tour.
They will also play You Had me from Hello and Open All Night at accoustic shows.

Just kidding.
