Post-Crossroad Ballads

Always was the last of the GREAT Bon Jovi ballads, along with Bed Of Roses, I'll Be There For You and Never Say Goodbye.

The question is, will they ever reach those lofty standards with their ballads again? This Ain't A Love Song was a fair attempt, yet I don't think THAT has been topped since, let alone the Big 4.

Just a thought.

I agree. I think the last good Bon Jovi ballad was This Ain't A Love Song.

I think This Ain't A Love Song is better than Always. I never thought Always was that great and I was surprised that it was such a huge hit.
Does 'These Days' count as a ballad? If so, then that's THE best post Crossroad ballad. TYFLM is an ok standard ballad, not bad but nowhere as good as BJ's previous works. Ditto for AALY. Lie To Me is probably the worst.
