I actually do like ballads. Misunderstood (which I consider to be one, but with more rock leanings) is creeping up behind Bounce as my favorite BJ song. But I guess memories influence the songs I like, or memories I associate with songs, even though they hadn't come out yet.
I like most of their songs. I can honestly say the only ones I don't like are Love For Sale, Bad Medicine, If I Was Your Mother, and Runaway. Joey isn't one of my favorites but I don't hate it.
Some other ballads I like are I Want You, I'll Be There For You, and Always. TYFLM isn't bad, I just don't hear it enough to give an honest opinion.
I've said this before, the second verse of OAN is BRILLIANT!

no need to use 'even' - they are great albums - just badly recorded for 7800, while bon jovi was the 1st effort...

well that song was a rock song in many ways... just because it had the word "love" in it...

i liked that song a lot since it was the first real song off these days i heard
