Is this an official release of Jon's pre-Bon Jovi work?

I've found many different versions of this CD - they differ in number and order of tracks, CD titles and covers (at least 9 different covers).
Do you know which version/versions are official (if they're official at all)?

None of them are official. I think they were all released pretty much against Jon's wishes

I thought so, but wasn't it Jon's cousin who released it? What label actually did it?
And last thing, which of all of these versions was the 'original'? I mean, was there one 'original ' version of this CD and the next were 'false' or were they all released by the same label?

I believe this is the original one. There was an article about Jon suing Tony over 10 years ago and it had a picture of Tony and that album cover in it. According to the article it was released by Power Station Records.

I'd only ever seen 3 different covers (and 4 now, thanks for Stut) and they all seem quite tackly looking and provide next to no info on the songs. Just track list and who wrote them. Either their unofficial, so to speak, or just very little effort has gone into producing them. I'm only going by the 20 track version I own, plus the 2 others I've seen in retailers.

There are official ones. The legal rights on the songs are at the owner of the Powerstation studios and he published the songs on CD. So there are official CDs published by the right owners even though Jon didn't like that the recordings got published. But he couldn't do anything against it since the songs are not his songs.

Fine, I stand corrected. They're not Bon Jovi / Jon releases though, that's what I meant

Has this topic always been in New Releases? Seems like an odd place for it

There are a couple of versions... the one I have is this one,

1Who Said It Would Last Forever
2Open Your Heart
3Stringin' A Line
4Don't Leave Me Tonight
5More Than We Bargained For
6For You
7Hollywood Dreams
8All Talk, No Action
9Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
10Head Over Heels
11No One Does It Like You
12What You Want
13Don't You Believe Him
14Talkin' In Your Sleep

although the only other three I've seen were

a)this one posted earlier,

b)this one,

c)and this one.

And most of them have just slightly varied tracklistings.
