Default Prayer '94

I hear a lot of opinions about TLFR Livin' on a Prayer around here, but almost none about this version of the song.

Personally, I love it... What does everybody else think?

Brilliant song. Almost better, if not equal, to Livin' on A Prayer. Its such a typical 'Richie' solo aswell. Excellent.

Excellent version, got the Always-single because of it. Feels "natural" and has tons of atmosphere.

I prefer prayer '94 to the original - but simply because the original has been tainted by DJ's in clubs playin it as part of the 'cheesy' line up at the end of a night when everyone is pissed and screeching the wrong words to it!!

Yes, I do like Prayer 94. They re-did it very well.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I love this version of the song almost as much as the original. I love how it flows and Richie sounds amazing on it.

The main reason why I bought the original US version instead of the remastered version. It's fantastic the acoustic version of Prayer has had a number of variations but Prayer 94 is the best. I wish they'd put it on the b-side/rarities disc on Cross Road Delux Sound + Vision, or even on the Box Set.

The original is still the best but this version is good.
Among all the 'acoustic' version of LOAP, I prefer the one performed in the KTF MTV Special.

I never really liked it. I love the acoustic version and the original but this sort of mix between the two never quite worked for me. Don't get me wrong it's not crap or anything but just not great either.

I think the lyrics fit the slowed down version of the song, in my opinion. It just "Fits" better.
