Default Prayer makes my One Wild Night!

On Friday night I was working, and my firends asked me if I wanted to go out after work. I joined them in a club at around midnight, which is very late for going out. It was a really crap night, until I decided that Livin' On A Prayer would make it so much better. I went to the DJ's stand and asked him if he could play Prayer for me, and he said "Nah, we finish in 15 minutes." I begged him and he still wouldn't play it, so I thought I'd have to get a girl to ask him.

I found the prettiest girl I could. She wasn't really pretty, but she was ok, and I said to her, "Will you ask the DJ to play Livin' On A Prayer for me?", and she said, "Ask him yourself". I explained to her that I had done and I needed a pretty girl to ask him, or he wouldn't play it. She said "So why have you come to me?", and I told her that I thought she was really pretty. She laughed and said "Don't kid me, but what do I get if I get him to play it?", and I said in a joking manner, "I'll kiss you." She then asked, "What.....a proper kiss?", and I told her "Yeah, but only if you get him to play the song". She disapeared.

10 minutes later Prayer rocks the house and gets everybody up dancing. I went wild and had a great time. After the song had finished I gave the girl her kiss and she seemed satisfied. I was more than satisfied because I got the two things I wanted, Prayer and a kiss. It was a great night after that and I got really drunk at a friends house after. I woke up at 4PM the following day and reflected back on what had happened. I thought, yeah a wild night, but a great night, and all because of one song written by my favourate band and Desmond Child. Bon Jovi have done some amazing songs, but Prayer rocks everybody's soul more than any other, and it's a great rock song/club song.

Long live Prayer and long live Bon Jovi!

Lol yeah, I am really shy when sober, and I really can't talk to a girl that I like. The girl I kissed wasn't a girl a fancied and I was rather drunk, but I wasn't ashamed to kiss her. Not at that time anyway.

Thanks for sharing your story. I guess Prayer is the song that connects all Bon Jovi fans. I've never met a Bon Jovi fan who didn't like it.

Most club DJ have the hits from Bon Jovi like Prayer, Bad Name, It's My Life and I've heard Bed Of Roses once too, but I'm surprissed that DJ didn't have any BJ in his collection. Maybe he was a hard house DJ or something.
