Watched it a few times. Did anyone else think Richie seemed wasted?

Really? I watched this and I didn't think Richie was trashed - I think he is just more casual and not as articulate as Jon is.

Richie just seemed off to me. Not like other interviews. It was like he was on something or had few too many.

And Jon just seemed real annoyed the entire time he was there. Now, he did say they just got back to work after 6 weeks so he could just have a case of the Mondays. But it all these years, that was one interview where Jon obviously did not want to be at. I honestly think he was pissed at Richie. I picked it up a few times in the body language.

I totally agree. Jon was annoyed with the stupid questions and with Richie's answers. He did not want to be there. I think maybe Richie was out of it-- but maybe just tired. How can these hosts ask the same questions over and over and expect people to watch?

this is why I asked ...I think the fact jon seems pISSED is obvious but I don't think richie looks or sounds wasted though .. off maybe but not wasted ... but JON yes he looks PO

I think when ppl say *I agree* they are kinda agreing on the jon being PO part not necesseraly on richie being wasted ..JMO

I had the same impression as Rdkopper. I think Richie was wasted. I also felt that Jon seemed really bothered and uncomfortable whenever Richie opened his mouth. There was something strange in the way Richie was expressing himself and I don't remember him behaving like this in previous interviews. Who knows.

He is not looking good enough so he should have plastic surgery done ? Oh no .. please ... excercise and get in shape yes but surgery no please

I may make ennemies here but plastic surgery is NEVER looking good on most people in my book (but especially on men they immediately look like wax figure) ....

I think Richie is like a 'sponge' he absorbs everything on shows it on his face ... he has been looking *better* yes that's true

Yeah....same questions, same answers. At the beginning I thought he looked bored and like he didn't want to be there. I just watched it again based on these comments and he wasn't as bad as I remembered. On the behind-the-scenes clip on the net they seemed fine. I think the preliminary stuff, setting up, rehearsing the songs (and learning to play WDYG live), recording the song segments and finally the sit-down interview made for a long day. Richie consistently is a lot more engaging when answering questions than Jon. Jon has to be in the mood otherwise he is either pissed, bored or straining to come off engaging.

Someone should start a thread, "what questions do you want interviewers to ask Bon Jovi {any of the specific members or Hugh}"
