YOU may well know, but the assumption that others should is ignorant. Or are you able to instantly know a strangers character from a post?

All I'm saying is if you enjoy regs playing petty wind ups/hoaxes etc, then expect to be tolerant of newbies not being 'in' on it and reacting. Isn't that the purpose of them anyway?

As observant as you consider yourself, where can you find examples of Kathleen being in on or perpetrating hoaxes or on Jovitalk? There are actually a large number of regs as well. How many of those do that? I always see the "Regs" besides myself step in and try to help the newbies be "in on it" so it's not exactly hostile unless you go in full-on defense mode and start firing left and right without stopping to consider that just maybe you are being an arse.

If you ignore that it's an intersting argument. Thanks for humouring me. I'm observant enough to see that I never actually said Kathleen perpetrated anything, I merely commented how she and other regs expect newbies to know when people like Seb are shit stirring and when they are being sincere.

As you well know, many regs encourage such behaviour then moan that newbies can't take a joke even though the joke is often only obvious to regs who understand that that is how certain posters get their kicks.

Can't you tell just by the tone? I have met Ice but have not met Seb. Do you seriously think he thinks that he kicks Jon's ass? Why isn't he out making money in the music business if he thinks he is such hot shit. I could slam him for all sorts of related stuff. But it's done in such a way that it should be obvious to anyone that he is winding people up. Or at least that's the way I have always seen what he does.

My comment referred to the fact that those of us that have been here for a while seem to get this and we don't fly off the handle about it. Even if I was a newbie, what difference would it make to me if he thinks he's hot shit and better than Jon. I would just think he's delusional and go on to another thread.
