Well ... depends ..... i prefer a song with some lyrics like that than a song with some "poetic lyrics" like Wildflower for example ....

I ment it as, WE all don't like it... perhaps I like it but for example kev doesn't!

What's not to like about lyrics like giving me head? Really, it's a cool thing to sing a song like that to your girlfriend, thinking she'd get a cool ballad, and then finds out there's such a lyric in it.

yes we do!

Wildflower is just mush. Some of the best songs feature poetic lyrics though, such as a lot of Bob Dylan's songs. It depends what you call poetic. In my opinion a song doesn't need to be about love to be poetic. It can be about war, sex, or just about anything. I know what you mean about Wildflower though.
